Later on the episode, her and Elena will be meeting someone from the remote farmhouse of Abby where they met Jamie, a young man that her mother took in years earlier.
This catches Abby off-guard with her sudden appearance but she does her best to explain the past. Meanwhile, in his quest to regain the free will of Tyler, Tyler turns to an unexpected ally. On the other hand, Damon is intrigued by the new friend of Alaric, Dr. Fell.
